The origin of Casa Pipeiro goes back to the middle of twentieth century, when at that time Antonio Fernández "O Pipeiro" a native of Ribeiro (Leiro, Orense), decided to move to Ponte Caldelas (Pontevedra) to start his career in the world of Galician cuisine. At first, this orensano dealt in bringing to the village, carried in barreIs (pipas), the best wines of his homeland, which combined with homemade cooking with quality products, made "A Casa do Pipeiro" an obligatory stop for anyone passing through the village.
This idea has been preserved and matured over time, to become today a model of traditional cuisine, based on the quality and variety of our raw products.
